Disbursement to mobile money client

Loan performer allows a user to disburse loans to mobile phones. This is called disbursement to mobile. It follows the same process of Loan Disbursement except that the disbursement will be to clients registered for mobile banking.

How do we disburse to mobile

To disburse a loan to mobile go to Loans/Disbursement and the following dialog is displayed:

• Loan number: Enter a loan number for the loan that you want to disburse, e.g., "KA/000872" or click on the Choose command button to select it from the list that is displayed.  
• Click on the Next command button to continue. 
• The screen like one below is displayed:

• Before you can disburse to mobile, LPF should have been configured to allow disbursement to mobile under System/Configuration/Mobile Banking Set up/Mobile Money Setup.
• The client clients whom you will be disbursing to should have also been registered as mobile banking and mobile money clients under Mobile Banking Clients and Mobile Money Clients.
• Loan Amount to Disburse: By default, the amount here is the full amount on Loan Application. You can change it if you are making partial disbursement (less money than what was applied for), but it can never be more than the application amount.
• Mobile Money Client: Check this option to disburse to mobile. The system will prompt the user for the Mobile money service provider. From the drop down list select the mobile money service provider e.g. MTN. For the mobile money service providers to appear in the drop down list they should have been registered under System/Configuration/Mobile Banking Set up/Mobile Money Setup.
